Hello, I’m Rachel …

Woman sitting in an armchair by a stone fireplace in a well-lit room.

I’ve loved school, learning, and the crisp pages of a new planner for as long as I can remember. (And yes, I was the kid who actually enjoyed organizing my binder.)

That lifelong passion for structure wasn’t just a hobby—it became the roadmap for my career. With a background spanning classroom teaching, educational technology, and ministry, I’ve spent decades as a teacher, encourager, and coach at heart. Whether I was running a high school writing lab or producing a podcast, my goal has always been the same: helping others find their flow.

Meet Your Coach: Credentials & Experience

I believe that effective coaching requires both a heart for people and a head for proven strategies. My academic and professional background includes:

  • B.A. in English & Psychology | Samford University (1989)

  • Master’s in Educational Technology | Johns Hopkins University (1993)

  • Certified ADHD Coach | Efficient Coach (2026)

Helping Students and Adults Turn Chaos into Calm

While I’ve spent years in mentoring roles, the 2020 pandemic highlighted a massive gap in support for those struggling with executive functioning challenges. In 2024, I launched Focus On Fewer Coaching to provide teens, college students, and overwhelmed adults with the practical tools they need to thrive.

If you’ve ever felt like this, you’re in the right place:

  • “I’m constantly overwhelmed and don’t even know where to start.”

  • “I’m always behind, no matter how hard I try to catch up.”

  • “I’m tired of the daily battle with my teen over schoolwork and deadlines.”

My Coaching Philosophy: Simple, Real-Life Systems

I don’t do complicated spreadsheets that get abandoned after a week. My coaching is practical, personalized, and built for real life. Working 1:1, we move away from the frustration of procrastination and anxiety and toward steady, sustainable progress. Together, we build the confidence, consistency, and follow-through necessary to transform "I can't" into "I've got this."

A Little More About Me

Beyond the planners and coaching sessions, I’ve been happily married since 1997 and am the proud mom of two adult children. When I'm not coaching, you’ll likely find me:
